April 21, 2008 - The start of the new, dry, driveway. The soil under the black geotextile
(a permeable separator allowing water to percolate through the ground into the drainage
field, but restrict fine particles of soil from passage) is very wet all the time due to
underground water. To keep this area dry, the underground water must be drained away
using a combination of geotextile, rocks and 4" plastic tubing.
